The climate crisis isn’t gender neutral. But the solution is feminist.
Rising temperatures are giving rise to even greater inequality. Those least responsible for the climate crisis – women and girls in already resource-strapped areas – are the ones most impacted by resulting disasters and displacement.
Climate justice is gender justice.
Driving Change
We’re thinking about climate policy and programs from the perspective of the people most affected. In the wake of earthquakes in Indonesia and catastrophic flooding in Pakistan, we’re asking women what they need now, their priorities to rebuild their communities, and their ideas to address the climate crisis. We’re building multi-sectoral coalitions to deliver on women’s needs and aspirations.
